In an intimate and lively setting featuring guitar and bass, we are treated to breathtaking polyrhythmic interplay and finely honed rhythmic precision as Gustav Borehed laces up his tap shoes and becomes one with the band.
Gustav is one of Sweden’s foremost tap dancers and an internationally active multidisciplinary artist who has graced the stage at theaters in Sweden, Spain, Japan, and Russia (including the Gothenburg Opera, Teatre Apolo in Barcelona, and Agora Theatre in Tokyo).
With his deep love for tap and his dedication to education, he teaches tap dance, improvisation, and body percussion throughout Sweden, and as chair of the Swedish Rhythm Section, he works actively to expand and spread interest in this African-American art form.
