We believe in the power of relationships.

The current political moment is one of continuing disruption and ongoing systemic crises. It seems as if there is never enough time to mobilize against one injustice before the next appears. It can be challenging to keep focused and motivated. But it's very convenient for the oppressive powers if we are tired, burnt out, depressed and apathetic. Our job is to get organized! 

The commitment to social change is not weakening - on the contrary, many of us want to get organized. Now is the time to pool our resources and find the answers. Now is the time to meet, build, train and sharpen our skills. But how do we best organize for a more radical movement and a brighter future? 

Clara Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 2024. We believe that more people can and should get involved in the issues they care deeply about. But being involved in a social or political issue is no easy feat. It takes time, energy and conviction. This is what activists and volunteers bring in. To be successful, it also helps if you have the right methods, tools and “know-how”. That is what we offer! Through training, courses and networking, our aim is to raise the level of knowledge in organizing and to bring like-minded people together.

We who run the organization have many years of experience in organizing and we want to make that knowledge available to the wider general public and create spaces where we can learn from each other. In our experience, there is a need for more knowledge on what strategies and dynamics  successfully recruit activists and create commitment to a cause.

Even though we live in times where so many people want to get involved, it remains difficult for organizers to find and recruit new supporters. There is no lack of organizations to leverage individual support for the many issues at hand, but there is a lack of efficient recruitment methods and organizing skills to keep people committed long-term in these organizations. This is why we exist: to share knowledge and help build relationships that grow the movement, long-term.
